Gross Concrete Primer
Description
Gross Concrete Primer is used on painted and plastered surfaces before application of all kinds of cement-based plaster in order to remove any adherence problems caused by the surface.
- Easy to apply.
- Apply by use of sponge roll.
Application Conditions
- Ambient temperature should be in the range of +5°C through +30°C.
- Avoid of application under the conditions of strong wind or direct sunlight.
- Never apply on surfaces, frozen, melting or likely to be exposed to frost hazard in 24 hours.
- Take care that the adhesive does not create film during application.
Gross concrete primer is a high quality rough primer, cement-based, polymer reinforced and environment-friendly due to its structure incorporating natural material, forming safe surface.

Surface Preparation
Make sure that the bearing capacity and soundness of the floor and the surface is sound, clean and dry.
You should remove all foreign materials on the surface such as dust, grease and dirt that may adversely affect adhesion.
Application
Add clean water of about 12 – 14 l to one 25-kg bag of No1 Gross Concrete Primer.
It should be mixed to get a homogenous and lump-free consistency by help of a trowel or low-speed hand mixer. Allow the mortar a resting time of 2-3
minutes before application and then mix it again for a short time.
Gross Concrete Primer is applied by sponge roll.
Second coat is recommended when required.

Recommendations
- It should not be applied when it is extremely hot or below +5oC.
- Do not apply it on hot surfaces.

Shelf Life
- 1 year from the manufacturing date in a moisture-free and dry environment. Container should be tightly closed when it is not used.
