Terrace Insulating Screeds
Description
It is used as topcoat at the penthouses of the buildings for thermal, acoustic and water insulation. It has a very light and sound structure. And this feature minimizes the excessive load on the buildings.

Application Conditions
Ambient Temperature: +5°C through +30°C.
Avoid of application under the conditions of strong wind or direct sunlight.
Never apply on surfaces frozen, melting or likely to be exposed to frost hazard in 24 hours.
Terrace Insulating Screed is a topcoat light screed modified by open-cellular natural aggregates and minerals available in nature with an improved water insulating feature, specially designed to use on the roof of the buildings..

Surface Preparation
Make sure that the bearing capacity and soundness of the floor and the surface is sound, clean and dry.
You should remove all foreign materials on the surface such as dust, grease and dirt that may adversely affect adhesion.
Application
• Add average 13 – 14.5 l of clean water to one 30-kg bag of No1 Terrace Insulating Screed.
• Mix No1 Terrace Insulating Screed by help of a trowel or slow-speed hand mixer to get a homogenous consistency.
• Allow the mortar a resting time of 10 minutes prior to application. And mix it for a short time again.

Recommendations
- No foreign material (lime, cement, gypsum, etc.) should be added to the prepared mortar.
- After application, the surface should be made damp for 2-3 days.

Shelf Life
- 1 year from the manufacturing date in a moisture-free and dry environment. Container should be tightly closed when it is not used.
